This will be complemented by the <strong>SME Digital Adoption Taskforce<\/strong>, which will support the adoption of digital technology by SMEs to boost their productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advancing_AI_in_Education_and_Social_Care\"><\/span>Advancing AI in Education and Social Care<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Launching New Data Pilots<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The government will launch <strong>two new data pilots<\/strong> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drive high-quality AI in education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve access to data in adult social care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An update on the <strong>AI Safety Institute<\/strong> will also be provided, focusing on recruitment and safety training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Driving_Public_Sector_Productivity\"><\/span>Driving Public Sector Productivity<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Major Investment in NHS Technology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The budget marks the next step in the <strong>Public Sector Productivity Programme<\/strong>, including an <strong>NHS productivity plan<\/strong> that doubles investment in NHS technological and digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A total of <strong>\u00a34.2 billion<\/strong> of funding has been announced to improve public sector productivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00a33.4 billion<\/strong> of this is allocated to the NHS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supporting Planning Authorities and the Civil Service<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AI solutions will be piloted to support <strong>planning authorities<\/strong> in streamlining their local plan development processes.
