Launched AutogenAI
How cool that AutogenAI can help you say goodbye to the panic of making the deadline, the ‘war room,’ the attention to detail on the most insignificant factors?
I grew up as one of six children in rural Victoria. My father, a tradie, owned a rapidly expanding small business. The ethos was simple: if you could walk, you were ready to work. This environment fostered my winning mentality and aptitude for business development. The excitement of securing a new contract was exhilarating. Observing my dad’s relentless work ethic, spending long hours alongside his team, and realising that hard work and business victories could be enjoyable, left a lasting impression on me.
Simultaneously, my mother’s career as a nurse instilled a robust sense of social justice in me. This blend of influences drew me to the humanities and eventually to social work.
Surprisingly, the sector wasn’t free from competition. I quickly grasped that to fund essential community programs aimed at reducing inequality, I had to write competitive bids. This became my niche, and it propelled me to the role of CEO of a non-profit at a relatively young age.
During my leadership, I engaged in monthly competitive tendering to secure funds from philanthropic sources, as well as state and federal governments. We continued to win and grow, launching a school for young people who struggled in conventional education, providing housing for homeless youth, establishing a commercial kitchen to train hundreds for successful careers, and equipping over 30 remote indigenous communities with Mac labs, connecting them to the world and facilitating formal education.
My journey continued with business development through competitive tendering in the corporate sector, and internationally. Then, generative AI, I adopted early, and immediately realized the magic.
How cool to say goodbye to the panic of making the deadline, the ‘war room,’ the attention to detail on the most insignificant factors? The world has changed, and so too can the bidding experience and the excellence of how we present solutions to commissioning bodies.
